A New Chapter of Giving: Taralyn Farrell Named 2026 Chair of the REALTOR® Giving Network

Posted: January 22, 2026 by Ashley Pelfrey

At Coldwell Banker Advantage, we believe that real estate is about more than just transactions; it’s about people, community, and the collective power to make a difference. That is why we are incredibly proud to announce that our very own Taralyn Farrell has been named the 2026 Chair of the REALTOR® Giving Network (RGN), the charitable arm of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®.

For Taralyn, real estate has always been a mission of service. With over 12 years of experience as a top-producing agent in the Triangle, she has built her career on a foundation of integrity and a commitment to protecting her clients. Now, she is taking that same fierce dedication to the helm of RGN to help ensure that every neighbor in our community has a place to call home.

Harnessing the Power of Collective Giving

The REALTOR® Giving Network exists to harness the collective giving power of real estate professionals and affiliates to support our neighbors and improve housing solutions. In a community as vibrant as ours, the reality of homelessness remains a crisis, with over 6,500 children in Wake County Public Schools currently experiencing homelessness.

As Chair, Taralyn will lead the charge in "supercharging" local housing nonprofits. By organizing REALTOR® giving and maximizing its impact, RGN provides critical funding to organizations like the Hope Center at Pullen and The Carying Place, helping families transition from homelessness to stable housing.

With You All The Way

At Coldwell Banker Advantage, the phrase “With You All The Way” embodies our fundamental philosophy and serves as a commitment that extends far beyond the mere completion of a transaction. Taralyn's new role is the testament of what happens when professional excellence meets a sincere dedication to service.

Getting Involved

As Taralyn prepares for her leadership term, there are many ways for the real estate community to join her in this mission. Whether it’s through the Keepers of the House annual giving campaign, volunteering to furnish an apartment for a formerly homeless family, or participating in the Giving Brunch in April or the Pickleball Tournament in December, every effort counts.

"We are a community of people who do real estate the right way," Taralyn often notes, echoing the CBA mantra. "That means showing up for our neighbors just as we show up for our clients."

Freedom to Grow. That’s CBA.

Taralyn Farrell’s journey from a successful home-based window coverings business to a top-tier agent and now a regional community leader is a testament to what happens when you have the support and freedom to grow your unique brand. We are honored to have her representing Coldwell Banker Advantage at the highest levels of industry service.

Please join us in congratulating Taralyn Farrell on this prestigious appointment. Together, we are building more than just careers; we are building a stronger, more compassionate Triangle.
